Thankful
I am so very thankful for the life I've shared with you.
You have always remained the same, hard working and loving...
Never lacking always stayed true.
You were loved by so many,
Your smile could light up a room.
Most of all your sense of humor touched lives of everyone you knew.
You had a way of meeting people and winning their hearts.
The impression you would leave with them
was one that would never part.
So today I am thankful for every moment
God allowed me to be with you.
Now into the loving arms of the Father,
An Angel has gone to rest.
Your work here is through.
I'll never forget the laughter,
Your words calling everyone "Pooh."
Everyone will remember you with a smile,
All of the little children, too.
We really didn't want to see you leave,
But we knew this day would come "Hurney"
You've done everything you needed to do
to Fulfill this journey.
