MR. HENRY LEE HOWARD WAS CALLED TO ETERNAL REST BY OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, FRIDAY EVENING, APPROXIMATELY 8 PM, SEPTEMBER 8,2017, AS HE WAS SURROUNDED BY HIS LOVING MOTHER,MRS. CLIMMIE BANKS AND SISTER, MRS. GWENDOLYN GRAY LEWIS AS HE RESTED PEACEFULLY AT HOME IN THE SAND HILL COMMUNITY, UNION SPRINGS, ALABAMA

HENRY WAS BORN JANUARY 23,1955, TO MR. WILLIE LEE BORDERS AND MISS CLIMMIE HOWARD (BANKS). HE CONFESSED CHRIST AND UNITED WITH ST. JOHN BAPTIST CHURCH, PISSTBURGH,PENNSYLVANIA AND LATER MOVED TO UNION SPRINGS AND UNITED TO OLD SARDIS BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE HE REMAINED UNTIL HIS DEPATURE. HE ATTENDED BULLOCK COUNTY TECHNICAL HIGH AND CARVER HIGH SCHOOLS, UNION SPRINGS,ALABAMA. HERNY MOVED TO PITTSBURGH,PA AND CONTINUED HIS HIGH SCHOOL STUDIES AT SCHENLEY HIGH TRADE SCHOOL PITTSBURGH, PA ;AFTER GRADUATION , HE ATTENDED CONNELY TECHNICAL TRADE SCHOOL AND GRADUATED WITH  CERTIFICATION IN AUTO MECHANICS. HE ATTENDED THE MEDIAN SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH CAREERS WITH A CERTIFICATE AS A DENTAL TECHNICIAN, PITTSBURGH,PA. HENRY SERVED IN THE UNTIED STATE ARMY FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. 

AFTER GRADUATION, HE RELOCATED BACK TO UNION SPRINGS WHERE HE ESTABLISHED  HIS OWN BUSINESS.  ORAL DENTAL LAB, IN THE SAND HILL COMMUNITY WHERE HE WORKED MANY CASES FOR DENTISTS IN UNION SPRINGS, EUFAULA, MONTGOMERY, AND SURROUNDING AREAS, AS WELL AS FOR INDIVIDUALS.  HE WAS KNOWN TO MANY AS "THE DENTIST".  HE ALSO TRIED A LITTLE TRUCK DRIVING FOR THE BENNIE WHITEHEAD BUSINESS.  MOST OF ALL, HE LOVED MAKING TEETH.  HE LOVED HIS FAMILY AND WAS PROTECTIVE.  HE ENJOYED HIS LIFE, ABUNDANTLY.  HENRY YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED WITH LOVE.

THANK GOD FOR THE EXPERIENCE, THE EDUCATION AND SKILLS I RECEIVED THROUGH AND BY YOU--I WILL TRULY MISS YOU.  GWEN.

PRECEDING HIM IN DEATH:  A BROTHER, WILLIE EDISON THORNTON.  HENRY LEAVES TO CHERISH HIS MEMORIES:  HIS FATHER:  MR. WILLIE LEE BORDERS; A LOVING CARING AND DEVOTED MOTHER, MRS. CLIMMIE HOWARD BANKS; ONE BROTHER: HOMER LEE (SHIRLEY) BORDERS, UNION SPRINGS, ALABAMA; TWO SISTERS:  GWENDOLYN HOWARD GRAY LEWIS, UNION SPRINGS, ALABAMA; GAYNELL HAYNES WILLIAMS, RENO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA; AND A HOST OF NEPHEWS, NIECES, OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
