Mr. Jimmy Lee Allen was born December 6, 1936 to J. C. and Fannie Mae Allen. Jimmy departed this life Sunday, February 28, 2021. Jimmy served in the United States Navy from which he was honorably discharged.
He worked many years for the Central Alabama Veteran’s Health Care System, in Tuskegee AL, as a nursing assistant.
He went on to pursue a Liberal Arts degree from Troy State University, Troy AL. Jimmy had a loving passion for gardening, at his home and the general community. He was preceded in death by his father J. C. Allen and his brother Willie Allen.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife Nellie Allen, Troy AL, Two Children, Jimmy Terrell Allen, San Francisco, CA, and Shilo (Justin) Nelson. God son Christopher (Kimberly) Mack of Union Springs, AL, Mother Fannie Mae Allen, Southern Springs Health Care Union Springs, AL.
Four grandchildren, Darion, Akendrianna, Aderius, and Fatema Mack of Union Springs AL. Nieces Svettana (Aundra) Miles, Sandra (Jacobi) Owens, of Union Springs, AL. Nephews, Willie Allen and Hanson Allen of Union Springs, AL. A host of grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
