Mr. Eric Bernard Ousley, 64 years of age, of Union Springs, AL, gained his wings on December 29, 2025, surrounded by family.

Eric was born on March 14, 1961, in Union Springs, AL, the son of the late Arthus Ousley, and was blessed to be raised with deep love and devotion by Calvin Pruitt.  His loving and devoted mother, Martha Jan Pruitt, guided him throughout his life.

Eric embraced Jesus Christ early in life, joined Mt. Silla Baptist Church of Union Springs, AL, and in time found his way back to his home church.

Eric graduated from Bullock County High School, Class of 1979, proud “HORNET”, where he excelled as an athletic and dedicated football player, wearing #82 throughout all four years.  After graduation, he began his life journey by entering the U. S. Army, rising from Private to Staff Sergeant (E-6).  He faithfully served for more than ten + years before retiring with honors.
