Joe Ellis was a native of Union Springs,AL. He was born to the late Marie and Jimmie Ellis. Joe is the youngest of 6 siblings. He married Mattie Ellis and together they had 2 boys (Rufus and Bruce Ellis). Joe was a proud grandfather and loved to see babies running around. He was born May 29,1940 and departed this life on January 5,2022.

Visitation will be held Fri. January 14th, 2022 1:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at Poe’s Memory Chapel.

Body will lie in state at 10:00 A.M.- Graveside Service - 11:00 A.M. on Sat. January 15th, 2022 at Haynes Chapel in the Cornerstone Community.

Repast - after burial will take place at 2nd Baptist Church,Cornerstone Community.
