Mr. Lamar Hough was born on December 4,1941 in Union Springs, Alabama to the late Taylor and Laura Hough, and was the ninth of fourteen childern. Lamar confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. McSwain. Educated in the Bullock County School System, he enjoyed spending time with family, playing the guitar in his earlier years, and working on cars.
Those who cherish his memories are: his wife, Joyce Hough of West Park Fl; three sons, Lamar Jr. of Birmingham,AL, Aaron and Krruz of Union Springs, AL;six sisters: Louise Guinn and Larcennie Murphy of Pittsburgh,PA, Wilma(Willie)Weems of Saginaw,MI, Annie Dallas of Fayetteville, GA, Lardell Farley and Marion J.Smith of Birmingham,AL; three brothers James H. Hough of Pittsburgh,PA, Boswell Hough, Sr. of West Park, FL, and Taylor (Carnell) Hough of Montgomery,AL ; one aunt: Catherine Hough of Birmingham,AL; and a host of loving Grandchildren,Great-Grandchildren,Nieces,Nephews,Relatives and Friends.
Lamar was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Luecilla Fannin, Eva L.Williams and Mattie I. McMillan and one brother Lindburgh Hough .
