She was the eldest child of Odell and Louise Hooks who preceded her in death. She is survived by: her 3 children Charles Jessie(Sallie), “Susie” Elizabeth Jessie and Louise Jessie; 2 grandchildren Sean David Jessie(Starla) and Nicole Armelia Jessie(Crystal); 7 great grandchildren Deshawn, Raiyne, Shemar, Shyanne, Shirley, Devin and Ava; 2 step great grandchildren Terrence Lee and Keeta Lee; 4 siblings Willie Edgar Hooks(Lula), Lizzie Jean Fearson(Harvey, deceased), Jerry Hooks(Frances) and Mae Jodie Hooks. 5 siblings preceded her in death Fannie, Wade, Tommie, Hazel, and Willie Alma.

She accepted Christ at a young age and led a good, long Christian Life. She was much loved.
