Mrs. Bessie Christian was born May 19, 1933 to the late Fate  and Savannah Flintroy in Bullock County. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Walton Capel Methodist Church. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed spoiling her grands and great grands.

She attended the school system of Bullock County and later became a home maker.  She met and married Mr. Lawrence Christian, Sr. On September 13, 2024 she departed this life to be with the Lord at the age of 91, at Bethany House in Auburn Alabama.  She is preceded in death by her son Lawrence Christian and two sisters Mary Glasco and Velma Thomas and brother, Willie Flintroy and granddaughter Brenda Davis.

Mrs. Christian leave to cherish her fondest memories to her devoted daughter. Mattie Davis of Union Springs, Al. Three grandchildren, King (Nicole) Davis, Jr., and Christopher Davis both of Union Springs and Jessie of Atlanta, GA. Three great grandchildren, Sidney Davis, King Davis both of Union Springs, AL, Tyler Brown, Travis Brown, Jr. both of Groveland FL.  Three nieces, Annie (William) Ware of Birmingham, AL, Mary Johnson of Columbus, GA and Thelma Wabbington of Birmingham, AL. Two great nieces, Aretha, and Cassandra. Three great nephews, Marcus, Sedrick, and Johnny.  A host of other family, friends and loved ones.
