Mrs. Mayola B. Shelly was born to the late Jake and Mary Lou Baker. She Confessed her love for Christ at a very early age at Old Sardis Baptist Church. She was married to the love of her life Johnny Shelly who preceded her in death from their Union came 9 children. She also was preceded in death by 4 of her children. The late Johnny Shelly Jr., Larry Shelly, Mary Alice Shelly and Michael Shelly all of Union Springs, Alabama. Mayola Lou Shelly was preceded in death by her 3 sisters Emma Lou Shelly, Louise Cooks, and Lala Mae Patterson and 2 brothers Sam Baker and Willie B.Baker. She leaves to cherish her memory 5 children Ola Mae Harris, Beth Davis, Judy Ann Shelly, Christopher Shelly and Keithy Shelly all of Union Springs, 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters Ruby C. Pritchett and Linela(Roosevelt) Manley, 1 bother James Youngblood and 1 aunt Jimmie Maholmes. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and a very special devoted friend Jimmy Lee Thomas of Troy, AL.
