She was born to Willie Frank Phillips and Shirley Jean Phillips on Nov 2nd, 1963. She was their 2nd oldest child. She has one sister Sherry Carpenter and one brother Tonny Lamar Phillips. She was the granddaughter of George M. Phillips and Willie Bee Phillips. Juanita has 5 children, 3 daughters;Tanja Hill, Shenita Lee and a daughter named Sherry. She has 3 sons; Cornelius Lee and Adrain Payne. She has a host of grandchildren ; Cornelius Lee Jr., Cortez Lee, Cory Lee, James Richard Hill Jr., Hannah Alexis Hill and Jasmine Marie Hill. A host of great grandchildren Jaden Tarique Jones, Armon Ahsontaie Pettiford Jr., Amari Emmanuel Martin, Armoni Akela’Marie Pettiford, Arihanna Nicole Martin, Ah’Miracale Ashanti Pettiford, Tiffany Ajani Graham and Ayden Chance Hill.
