Phillips

Ms. Priscilla Phillips was born June 2, 1947, to the late Andrew Phillips and Clara Bell Haynes Phillips. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Newby Snelling and Ruby Haynes and three brothers, Willie Gene Haynes, James Phillips and Roceil Phillips.
Priscilla was a homemaker who enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and fishing. Her favorite past time was spending time watching old movies with family and friends.
At an early age she surrendered her life to the Lord and joined Walton Chapel Methodist Church in the Aberfoil Community; later she joined Ambassadors for Christ where she served faithfully on the Usher Board and other church organizations until her health failed.
On Saturday, August 16, 2014 she departed this life at Baptist South Hospital, Montgomery, Alabama.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving son, John Lamar Phillips; one brother, Jim Phillips, and a niece she reared as her own, Gaynell Haynes Williams, all of Union Springs, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Anthony Johnson (Texas), Nikita Thomas (Dothan, Alabama); Kaniesha Phillips, John Phillips, Jr., Takevia Phillips, and Tyeisha Phillips (Ozark, Alabama); and Alexis Phillips (Birmingham, Alabama); great-grandchildren; a special aunt, Bertha Phillips Coleman, Union Springs, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, special loving cousins, neighbors and friends, Shaquella Walker, Mattie Davie, Willie Belle Outsey, Rev. & Mrs. Artis Charles Martin, Regina Harris and the Peebles Family.
