Carnell Thomas Hough passed away May 24, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family in Montgomery, Alabama. Carnell was born in Soperton,GA on March 16,1944 to Maddie Thomas. She was raised in Saginaw, MI by her grandmother Essie Lee Thomas and spent the majority of her adult life there.
Carnell was a graduate of Delta College and Saginaw Valley University where she received her LPN, X-ray and Mammography licensing and degrees. Carnell was a devoted employee who spent over 45 years in the medical field.
She was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital of Saginaw for over 30+ years until she retired. Retirement didn’t stop her though! She began a second career and worked for Health Services Incorporated for 10 years. Her passion for helping people was phenomenal and she left an unforgettable mark on many, many patients.
Carnell was always smiling and her favorite saying was "Hey Darling" which lit up the room.
Carnell leaves to treasure her memory her Husband of 22 years Taylor Hough Jr.; Daughter Sharise M. Webb; Step-daughters Tayadra (Glenn) Cabbell, Pamelor Elmore, Samantha Hough and Tayla Lowe; Step-son Terry (Trina) Townsend; Uncle Curtis Thomas, Grandchildren TieArra Moncrief, Tatyana McClendon, Tie-shay Moncrief, Bria Graham, Bradley Batts, DreMont Primus, Taylor Cabbell, Terry Townsend Jr., Glentoria Cabbell, Jylan Hollingsworth, Faith Elmore, Terrion Townsend; In-laws Boswell Hough Sr., Eva Louise, Lardale Farley, Wilma Weems and Marion Smith, Furry grandchildren Pepsi and Sundae Webb and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carnell was preceded in death by Daughter Charnell Felice Webb and Grandson Glenn Cabbell III.
