Willie Nelson Obituary

Willie James Nelson was born January 19, 1971 in Tuskegee, AL to the late Mr. Willie James Jackson and Elizabeth Nelson Jackson. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at Poe’s Memory Chapel. The Burial will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Mason Cemetery. 

He attended the Bullock County School System. He joined New Friendship Baptist Church, later he attended Mt. Silla. He worked at Cagles in Macon, GA, Wiley Sanders, also worked as a carpenter, and Wayne Farms for 23 years. 

He had two brothers proceed with him in death, Mr. Boyd Jackson and Mr. Marvin Jackson. 

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Villi Nelson on April 12, 2008, this union was blessed with two children. They have been married for 12 years. 

He leaves to mourn his wife Villi Nelson, two sons Willie J. Nelson, Jr., Prince Nelson, his siblings, Mrs. Inez (William) Smith, Icephene Goldwaite, Earnestine Jackson, of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Daniels of Tampa, FL, Mary (Larry) Collier of Vienna, GA, Cheryl (Gary) Ivey, Tracey (Alonza) Bryant of Macon, GA, Tanya Kings of Union Springs, AL, Belinda Starks of Montgomery, AL, Arthur Lundy of Macon, GA, Stepsisters Lashell Swanson of Birmingham, AL, Janice Ivey of Atlanta, GA, Aunts Jessie Calvun Doler, Phil, PA, Lillie Calhoun of Columbus, GA, Mrs. Tony Thomas of Troy, AL, Lincie Tommy Thomas of Troy, AL. A host of Niece’s, Nephews, and cousins. Sister-in-law Crystal Poe, Brother-in-law Jabari (Gladys Ayala) Prempeh. Father-in-law Dr. James V. Poe, Jr. (Dr. Jabari V. Prempeh), Mother-in-law Mrs. Bertha Louise Coleman Poe (Deceased), Aunts Mrs. Julia Irvin, Mrs. Bernice Morgan, Mrs. Mary Burton, Mrs. Johnnie Parker, Pastor John (Mattie) Coleman, Dr. Rubye (Dr. Johnny) Sanders. Nieces- Rachelle A. Louise Poe, Taylor R. Elizabeth R. Poe, Ava Ayala Prempeh, Lauryn Ayala Prempeh. Nephews- Tyrese Jay Coleman Poe, Jabari Coleman Ayala Prempeh III.
